How to use Get Quotes (Web app)


Create Button → Get Quotes 

 

  1. Click the Create button.
    This is located on the top left of the home screen.

  2. Fill in the order details:
    • Project: Select your project from the drop-down menu. 
      If you can't find your project, you may not be added to the Project Team, or it may not exist yet. Contact your Company Administrator in your organization to request assistance. 

       
           
    • Order NameGive your order a name.
      Pro tip: Keep the Project Team in mind - give it a name that makes it obvious what your purchase order is for.

       

       
    • What do you need?Enter the items / services that you require here.
      • This will be visible to all suppliers you send this to.
         
      • Be specific about your items so that any supplier can understand what to quote.
         
      • For rentals:
        • Enter date you need it for.
           
        • Enter rental duration: days, week, or months?
           

    • AttachmentsOptional. 
      Need the supplier to see a diagram or other support documentation? Use the paperclip icon to attach a document that will help them give you an accurate quote! 
            
    • Quotation Due Date
      Set a due date for suppliers to get back to you. Our automated system will follow up to remind them to quote. 
    • Pro Tip: try to give both your suppliers enough time to respond, and yourself enough time to weigh your options before sending your PO if possible. 
       
         
    • Click Next.   

  

 

Invite suppliers

  1. Select supplier category (optional).
    This will filter your contact list by category. If your contact is not properly assigned to a category, please reach the customer success team.
         
  2. Select the suppliers you want to request quotes from.
       
    Having trouble?
    • Search for supplier: Don't see your supplier in this list? Try using the Search bar.
        
    • Email supplier directly: If you still can't find them, you can enter their information by clicking “New Supplier” near the bottom left of the page: 


       
  3. Click Next.
    You may have to scroll down to see the Next button if your suppplier list is long.

 

 

Delivery

Fill out the form as needed. 

  • Delivery Instructions: Let the supplier know if there are special delivery instructions for your site.
        
  • Where to: If an additional location needs to be added, contact your Company Administrator.

 

 

Review RFQ

Review the quote request for accuracy before sending this to your suppliers.

If you need to change any details, you can click the headers to go back to that page: 

 

Pro tip: if you make a mistake or miss something, don’t panic! You can edit your RFQ details after sending as well.
