This is our most popular method for connecting with suppliers to request quotes & create an order. You can call a supplier directly from your dashboard!

Call a Supplier System Behaviour:

As soon as the phone starts ringing, our system will:

  • automatically send the supplier an email.
The email will prompt them to reply with their quote. If they missed your call, the email will notify them that you attempted to call them.

If the supplier replies to this email with your quote, it will be added to your ticket automatically!
If they send your quote from a new email, don't worry! The QuoteToMe Customer Success team will see it and assign it to your ticket for you.

  • automatically create an order ticket for you in QuoteToMe.
This will behave like a Get Quotes ticket, but this time you are only waiting for one supplier!

Tips and tricks for success

  • Always use Call a Supplier when placing calls with your suppliers to reduce rework.
If you call outside the app, you will have to take additional steps to process the PO through our system.

  • Always ask the supplier to reply to the automated email that is sent to them when you place a call.
This will ensure the quote is sent to your order draft, so you can convert it to a PO with one tap!

  • For open POs and/or rental items, ask for a rate sheet instead of a quote.
