In QuoteToMe, being on a Project Team allows you to view POs created by your team members

Remember to add Accounting to the team!

Shared visibility

Your project team can see all POs created for your project - this will reduce or eliminate double orders, and speed up invoice reconciliation!

Your PO status is updated in real time, so everybody can be on the same page.

Pro tip: if you're part of multiple projects, filter by project name.

Above: on mobile, all active project POs for a specific project is displayed. On the top left, you can see a filter is active for the project "Center Street Tower."

You won't receive notifications for POs you didn't create (unless you've been asked to approve them).

PO approval routing

Has your organization has enabled purchasing limits?

If your PO subtotal exceeds your purchasing limit, you can select an approver to notify in your Project Team. If you can't find one, we will escalate it to a higher level in your organization.

Read our Purchasing Limits Overview article to learn more.

Users

! Project Teams must have at least one team member.

  • Team members can be added or removed at any time by an Admin user.

  • We strongly recommend you add the whole Project Team - including field, office, and accounting.

What happens to POs from former team members?

  • Users can be removed from a project at any time, whether they are changing projects or leaving the organization.

  • You will always be able to see POs created for your project, even if the user who created them has left the Project or organization.

  • If you leave a project team, you will still be able to view POs that you created, but not created by other project team members.

  • Users who leave your organization will not be able to access the app. Their historical data will remain in the system - their POs will always be there. Their user status will be set to inactive.
    • Users returning to the organization will have access to thier order history by reactivating their account.

You will always have access to a PO you created, even if you leave the project team.
