How to Update Your App Manually



Update Apple apps manually


  1. Open the App Store.
     
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
     
  3. Scroll to see pending updates and release notes. 
     
  4. Tap Update next to our app.
    You can also tap Update All.

 

 

Update Android apps manually


  1. Open your Google Play store app.
     
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top-left corner.
     
  3. Tap Manage apps & devices.
    Apps with an update available are labeled Update available.
     
  4. Under Updates Available, tap See details.
    You can also tap Update all.
     
  5. Locate the QuoteToMe mobile app.
     
  6. Tap Update.

 

 
Tips and tricks for success

 

  • Why update only QuoteToMe?
    You can choose to tap Update all, but this may increase your download time if you have a lot of apps that need to be updated.
     
  • Sometimes apps need new permissions after an update.
    You may get a notification that asks whether you accept the new permissions.
     
  • Sometimes apps will require your device to reboot after an update.
     
  • To search for a specific app:
    Tap Manage apps & devices, then tap Manage. If the app has an update available, the Update button appears on the app's Details page.
