Overview

Web-Only Feature: Cost codes can only be managed through the web version. 

Key Actions:

  • Add Cost Codes – Manually enter them or upload a CSV file.
  • Edit Cost Codes – Delete and re-add to update details.
  • Delete Cost Codes – Remove outdated or incorrect codes.



How to add cost codes to your project


This feature can also be accessed when creating a new project, after filling out the form.


Step 1. Select Projects from the left navigation drawer.

  • A list of your projects will display. 
      
     

Step 2. Select the Cost Codes tab
 

Step 3. Click the "Add New" button.


Option 1: Enter cost codes Individually.

  • Enter the cost code and description, then click the Add Project Cost Code button to add one at a time.


Option 2: Upload / drag and drop a .csv document

  • You can upload a .csv document that lists your cost codes and descriptions for the project.
  • Only two rows are needed, cost code and description.
  • Please note - Blank rows may confuse our system.

Your cost codes are ready to use in this project!


Users can now select these cost codes from a drop-down list when creating a PO.


How to edit cost codes for your project

To delete cost codes:

  1. Select the trash bin (delete) icon for each cost code you want to delete. 


To edit cost codes:

  • Delete the cost code and re-add it with the correct information.
