Projects are an integral part of using QuoteToMe. Learn how to import or create a project in just a few steps!


Create a Project

Follow the steps below to create a new project in QuoteToMe.


Step 1: Select Create

  • At the top left corner of the QuoteToMe interface, select the Create button (highlighted in orange).
  • From the menu, select Create Project.


Step 2: Choose how to create your project

Select one of the following options, then click Next:

  • Import from Accounting (Recommended): Sync project details from an existing project in your accounting software.

  • Create Static Project: Enter project details manually in QuoteToMe without syncing to your accounting software.


Step 3: Create the project team

Add team members to your project.

  • The project team size is unlimited.

  • Include team members who have the necessary purchasing or approval limits.

Your project is now ready!

You can now begin using your project.


Next Step (Optional): Add Project Cost Codes

  • You can add project-specific cost codes in QuoteToMe at any time for easy selection during order creation.
  • Cost codes can be synced from your accounting software if it is an integrated project.
