Overview


Notifications can be sent in three ways:


  • By push notification to your mobile device (if the QuoteToMe Mobile App is installed).
     
  • By email.
     
  • By SMS (text message) to your mobile phone.


Additional feature:

  • Weekly rundown email: opt in or out of your weekly rundown - this is a list of your "to-do" tasks.

Email


Note: One notification must always be enabled. 

 

If all notifications are disabled, the email notifications will turn on automatically and cannot be disabled unless another notification setting is enabled.

 

Push Notifications

  • This must be enabled in your mobile device's notification settings.
  • It is not possible to enable from the web or mobile apps.

 

SMS (text message)

  • Can be toggled on either the mobile app or the web app.

Toggle ON: toggle is right-aligned and teal/dark gray

How to change notification settings - mobile app

  1. Open QuoteToMe on your mobile device and tap the More (...) on the bottom-right of the screen. 
  2. Tap your name In the mobile app, the gear icon is highlighted next to the user's name   
  3. Tap Notifications.
     
  4. Toggle notifications as desired.

  5. Tap Save Changes.



How to change notification settings - web app

  1. Click the profile icon in the bottom-left corner. 
  2. On the next screen, click Notifications from list on the left under the Profile header:
      
  3. Toggle the notification settings on or off to suit your needs.

    In the web app, changes are saved automatically - no need to click on a save button
