Overview


Notifications can be sent in three ways:

  • By push notification to your mobile device (if the QuoteToMe Mobile App is installed).
     
  • By email.
     
  • By SMS (text message) to your mobile phone.


Additional feature:

  • Weekly rundown email: opt in or out of your weekly rundown.



Behaviour

 

Email

One notification must always be enabled. 

 

If all notifications are disabled, the email notifications will turn on automatically and cannot be disabled unless another notification setting is enabled.


 

Push Notifications

This must be enabled in your mobile device's notification settings.

 

It is not possible to enable from the web or mobile apps.


 

SMS (text message)

Can be toggled on either the mobile app or the web app.



Accessibility

Toggle ON: toggle is right-aligned and teal/dark gray

 

Toggle OFF: toggle is left-aligned and light gray

 

 

  

 

 

How to change notification settings - mobile app

  1. Open QuoteToMe on your mobile device and tap the hamburger icon on the bottom-left of the screen. 
  2. A drawer will open - tap the gear icon (on the top next to your name).In the mobile app, the gear icon is highlighted next to the user's name   
  3. Tap Notifications.
     
  4. Toggle notifications as desired.

  5. Tap Save Changes.



How to change notification settings - web app

  1. Click the profile icon in the top-right corner and choose Profile from the drop-down list. 
  2. On the next screen, click Notifications from list on the left under the Profile header:
      
  3. Toggle the notification settings on or off to suit your needs.

    In the web app, changes are saved automatically - no need to click on a save button.

  • Push notifications not working?

    Even if they're enabled in the mobile app, they might not be enabled in your iOS or Android system settings.
