This feature is only accessible by Admin users.


QuoteToMe Admins are responsible for keeping the team list updated to maintain accurate purchasing authorities for the project.
 


 

How to create a project

 

  1. Select Projects from the left navigation drawer. 
     
  2. Click Create Project on the top-right corner. 
     
  3. Complete the form. 
    If your organization has been set up with multiple companies, the "Operating Company" drop-down list will display.

  4. Create the project team. 
    The project team size is unlimited.

    Consideration: include team members who have necessary purchasing / approval limits.

     
  5. Select project team roles.

Your project is now ready to use!


 

 

Next step: add project cost codes (optional)

In QuoteToMe, you can add project-specific cost codes for easy selection in your POs.
 
This can be done at any time. To learn more, read our Add or Edit Cost Codes article.

 
 

 

Tips and tricks for success

  • Best practice: Match your project info here with your project records outside of QuoteToMe as closely as possible. 

    Use the same project name as the Architect and/or Project Owner to avoid confusion with team members and suppliers.
     
  • Cost codes can only be added or changed on the web app. 
     
  • New projects are immediately accessible to users on the project team. 
     
  • You can add and remove project team members at any time.
